Today is a historic day for the Bedington VFD.

The 1st time since 1963, we now have a minimum of 2 career staffed personnel 24 hours a day, 365 to supplement our volunteers. Thank you to Berkeley County and to the members of our department for working together to better protect our citizens.

Later this summer in August they will be joined by BCEAA EMS medic crew, also 24 hours, 365 at Station 40.

Throughout Berkeley County all volunteer fire stations are staffed 24 hours 365 days a year.

Those stations include Baker Heights, South Berkeley, and Hedgesville, and Back Creek Valley.
