| From April 26 to May 3, 2026, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation invites communities across the country to honor America’s fallen fire heroes by lighting up red. Landmarks, fire departments, businesses, organizations, and families are encouraged to participate in this national tribute leading up to National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend.
Participants are asked to illuminate their buildings in red and share the reasons behind their tribute. By telling these stories and lighting up red in all 50 states, people can help recognize and remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
